4. Google Account Authorization and Management
4.1 Purpose of Google SignIn Authorization
Merry Reels offers Google SignIn solely to verify your identity. This authorization is used exclusively for identity authentication.
4.2 How to Revoke Google Account Authorization
If you no longer wish to grant Merry Reels access via your Google Account, you may revoke the authorization yourself through Google’s account management interface.
Steps:
- Sign in to your Google Account and open the security settings page;
- Locate the section for thirdparty app access, labelled “Third-party apps with account access”;
- Find Merry Reels in the list of connected applications;
- Select the option to remove account access;
- Follow onscreen prompts to confirm and complete revocation.
You may complete this process at any time.
4.3 Clearing Historical Authorization Records
After revoking Merry Reels’ Google Account access, you may also clear historical OAuth activity records stored by Google by visiting Google’s My Activity page.
This step is optional and is not required to revoke Merry Reels account access.
5. Personal Information Management and Data Deletion
5.1 Rights Available to Users
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may manage your personal information, including viewing, updating and amending your profile.
You may also manage app permissions and submit requests to Merry Reels for personal data deletion or account cancellation.
We will process all such requests in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
5.2 Difference Between Revoking Google Authorization and Deleting Platform Data
Please note that revoking Google’s authorization for Merry Reels is separate from deleting account data already stored on Merry Reels servers.
Once Google authorization is revoked, Merry Reels can no longer access or retrieve data linked to that Google Account through this authorization.
Revoking thirdparty authorization does not automatically erase account records and data previously saved on Merry Reels servers.
Accordingly, if you wish to remove information held by the Platform, you must submit a separate deletion request through the designated channel.
5.3 Deleting Account Information from Platform Servers
If you want to permanently remove your account data stored on Merry Reels servers, you may submit a deletion request by email.
Our team will assist you with the process upon receipt.
This deletion channel is provided so users can manage their personal information stored on Merry Reels and satisfy compliance requirements for Google and Facebook.
6. Minor Users and Guardian Arrangements
Merry Reels provides services for adult users and minors who use the Platform under guardian supervision.
Users under the age of 18 must use Merry Reels services with the continuous accompaniment, supervision and guidance of their parent or legal guardian.
With respect to minors’ personal information and privacy rights, legal guardians may exercise rights on their behalf or submit requests to the Platform in accordance with applicable laws.
7. Policy Amendments
Merry Reels’ features and services may evolve over time, and relevant laws and industry compliance standards may also change.
